She tells them of Malar and his people.
After she finishes this speech, she says "witness my shame". She then turns into a werebear. It is a terribly painful process and takes about a minute. After the process is complete, she runs out of the hut.
She and Loric exchange growels and Ish runs off and is not seen the rest of the night.

Ish arrives the next morning with a dead faun in her mouth which she drops in front of the hut.
Once inside the hut, she changes back to human form. She is exhausted and takes a 2 hr nap.
The party dresses and butchers the faun and gets it ready for eating. They prepare a venison stew.
They talk about their stories and exchange info. She tells them that the tale came from a traveler who heard it from the priests at the Abbey of the Just Hammer. Ish tells them some stuff about the Abbey.
Valantha begins making healing potions. They start scraping the hide to cure it.

They finish the potions, tend to their gear and air out their bedding. Eat well!

They put on their foul weather clothes and head out. They get to the Rauthaur's road and meet a lost child.

Volantha walks forward and talks to the child. The rest of the party moves forward
They use a Sleep spell to knock her out for a minute while they read the trail signs to see what happened. She had rolled out of the cart while asleep and knocked herself out.
They use Long Strider and take the girl down the road toward (hopefully) to her parents. They are moving at 50' and the cart is moving 40'. They will gain 60' per minute. The cart has traveled for 2 hours. They will be running for 2 hours to catch up. Valantha is carrying the child. There are 8 members of the family, mom, dad, grandma and 4 other kids. Mench, Denta, and Evare. They are carrying fine rare woods.They give the party a big chunk of curly maple for the return of the girl.
They party sets out due S. and get to the Abbey in 2 hours (about 3:00).
They are welcomed and taken inside. Introductions are made and they are given a good mead while they tell their tale and answer the questions of Baern the high priest.
They tell the party of a murder 2 years ago where one of them was torn practically to pieces. Following the footprints they found a nude man with bloody hands and mouth who confessed to being a werewolf.
2 years ago, a accolite simply disappeared one night. It was a full moon then too. They searched for him but found nothing. His name was Toovan. 4 weeks ago there was another murder. Also at the full moon.
They search the area and don't find anything,. They stay at the Abbey that night.

They have breakfast thank their host and begin looking for the source of the were guys.
Val goes 100' away and the staff of bird calls is used to summon a bird to talk to. A raven song.
Val see the bird up in a tree with it's head cocked as it listens.Val does a S.W/animals. IT is unhelpful but suggests to go in the forest for big creatures.
They rejoin and go W into the forest area. No Enc.
They fan out and search for tracks or other signs of people or big animals around.
Val goes off and does an eagle cry on the staff. The eagle flys by but doesn't stop.
Next a finch is called. It flies to the spot and is called and responds after 5 minutes of coaxing.
Hearing a call from the others she returns to the group who have found some tracks. They are coyote tracks.
Val does s.w/plants on a beech tree looking for big creature info. Finds none.
Val turns into an eagle and flys off while the rest of the party follows the Coyote tracks.
Val has an encounter as an eagle. It is a pegasus!
It can't speak but draws a rough map of the Werecity in the dirt with a arrow pointing toward it.
Val goes eagle again and rejoins the party.
The coyote talks about "square trees" that are probably buildings. They talk about finding it but decide to go to a nice camp they found to spend the night.
They do some fishing but don't catch anything. No Enc.
Next morning they set out to find the village. They head off in the direction the Pegasus directed them.
Val turns into and eagle and Lou makes her invisible. She heads off in the direction they are traveling.
She finds the town and see no trails going in or out. That everything is run down really poor folks.
She returns to the rest and tells them she can take them there.
Heading for the village. They will get there at about 2:00
Near there they split into 2 parties and observe the village and it's people.
They leave at dusk and find a camp close 20 min to the city.
Cold camp and quiet time.
An hour after dark they hear an unearthly howling.
Dany and Lou pass w/out trace toward the village.

They get through into the middle 0f the village and see a lit building at #1.
They peer through the window and see Anin: Female Halfling Alchemist, NG. Str 14, Dex 8, Con 11, Int 11, Wis 10, Cha 10. Anin is courtly in bearing, with cropped copper hair and large green eyes. She wears fine clothing and silk gloves. Anin is cheerful and talkative.
There is a shield of Malar on the wall opposite her.
They sneak out of the village and return to camp. No Enc.
