Lisa Kopeta Campaign 2 - The Silver Dog

They are in the Inn waiting for everyone to leave so they can go to sleep on the floor. They are talking to Vee about the Silver Dog.
The guy who saw it is now afraid as he had a dream that night and wants to stur up the locals to hunt it down.
The party goes to the blacksmith and tells her that they will be coming later then they head off into the forest.

They meet Morage the Morose and find him to be an educated man with an interesting history who is the guardian of the forest. He tells them about the dog and it's importance to the forest. He takes them to his hut in the roots of 2 trees and feeds them  and they feed him. They speak of their experiences and form a plan for how to protect the dog that night.

Vee goes wolf by herself. Roe and Danny are heading off the hunter and Lou goes off to find the dog.
Vee draws 3 of them away from the dog. Roe and Danny are heading off the ones that are hesitating. Lou and the Druid head off to find the dog.

It takes a long time and they are tiring but finally see the dog. Lou tries sleep to hold it but that fails. The dog heads off in a different direction and the hunters don't keep up.
Lou and the druid split up w3ith Lou using longstrider to get ahead of the dog.. She fails to catch it but turns it back toward Morage. Morage does speak w/animals and Entangle then friendship on the dog and it recognizes him as a friend.

Lou heads back to the hut to find the other two after they have chased off the hunters.
They meet at the hut and exchange stories while they wait for Morage. It takes him about 3 hours to get to the hut. He has a wild tale to tell about his time with the dog.

The dog gave him a wish and he wished for the health of the forest which he was granted that and a help driad that will arrive soon.
He is grateful to the party and gives them a sack with 212gp and 4 large pieces of amber.
They take the amber and 10gp each and leave him to sleep (with a couple lbs of boar meat).
Their note says "thanks for the money but we only took a bit of the gold Thanks for the oportunity."

They get back to Hoeford and head to the blacksmith. The blacksmith has made a extra large head with a lot of new metal and a different shape. She needs more time and tells them to come back later.

Broda talks to them about her feelings and her worship of Milliki.
They sit around until the axe is ready then return to get it.

After settling their bill, they talk about what to do next.
