Calendar of Berth

Although the names of the months and days have changed since the First Civilization, they have remained consistent (with some spelling differences) since the 2nd.
By an amazing coincidence there are 362 days in the Berth calendar. This is so, so nice as it makes all the 12 months a consistent 30 days long. There are 5 weeks in a month that are 6 days long. The 6th day is traditionally a day of rest.

The 2 extra days are tacked onto the end of the year an are celebrated as being the height of winter in the N. hemisphere and of summer in the south.
The month names are taken from the names of the gods from Astrological reckoning. It isn't important from any game perspective but it is interesting to note that the New Year occurs on the winter solstice and the summer solstice occurs on the 1st of Makla. This holiday is called the Festival of the Sun.

Here is the yearly Calendar of Berth. The seasons listed are for the N. part of the globe.
